On the Media tab, tap the plus icon on the top right. Select import from files. select files in the files app and tap open. Once import is complete will see all the files on the media tab.
You can easily link your google drive and drop account to the Files app that comes pre-installed on the iPhone. Once linked use the plus icon on the My Media tab. And select Import From Files option.
On the Media tab, tap the plus icon on top and select Import from URL option. Paste the URL and tap download option to download the file. Downloaded files will show up in the media tab ( Audio files only )
From media tab use the create option under each audio file. It will take you to the ringtone editor screen. Here just navigate the starting point of the rigntone and tap Create Ringtone button. Use the Preview Ringtone button to preview the created ringtone. All created ringtones are automatically saved to the rigntones tab. Use the Make option there to Export and set the rigntone using garageband.
How To Create and Install Ringtone Using GarageBand
STEP 1 :
Tap the three dots or long press on the audio file in the my media tab and select Create Ringtone.
STEP 2 :
On the create ringtone screen, select the ringtone starting point and then tap create button. Once ringtone is created you can preview it using the preview button. Use the Export button on top. If GarageBand is not installed it will ask you to do so.
STEP 3 :
On the Share screen select GarageBand from the list of apps.
STEP 4 :
Once the ringtone is copied it will show in GarageBand recents. Long press the file and select the Share option.
STEP 5 :
On the Share Song screen, Select the Ringone option and tap Export. Your ringtone is now ready. Now you can go to Settings - Sounds - Ringtone to use the created Ringtone.
